German Media React as ‘No Name’ Kuhn ‘Embarrasses’ Leipzig
The German media has reacted after Nicolas Kuhn spearheaded an inspired Celtic win over RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League this evening.
Christoph Baumgartner opened the scoring early doors but a quick-fire double from Kuhn put the Bhoys ahead before the break.
The efficient winger drew the Hoops level with a delightful dink before tapping in at the back post to make it 2-1 moments before the break.
Kuhn’s stock is rising by the Game, and he undoubtedly put himself on the European map with his Man of the Match display tonight.
Indeed, German outlet Bild has taken notice of his performance, hailing how he ‘Embarrassed’ RB Leipzig, a club he previously spent some time at.
A headline from the renowned Sports newspaper this evening read ‘German No Name Professional Embarrasses Leipzig’.
Kuhn will be the talk of the town back in his homeland after his outstanding performance tonight.
He spent spells at both Leipzig and Bayern Munich in his youth, and is finally living up to his true potential.
The 24-year-old has arrived at the 2024/25 season as a different animal to last campaign, and is only improving by the Game.
He set tongues wagging back in Germany this evening as he put his ex employers to the sword with a brilliant brace.
