The Minnesota Twins and the Texas Rangers meet Thursday in MLB action from Globe Life Field. Here’s a Texas Rangers vs Minnesota Twins prediction. This will be the final installment in a three-Game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Rangers vs Twins pick.

Minnesota Twins Betting Preview

The Twins are coming off a series versus the Kansas City Royals. Minnesota was able to notch victories 8-3 and 13-3 in the first two installments of that set, then on Wednesday the Twins took a 4-1 loss.

In the starter slot for Thursday the Twins will send out Bailey Ober. This year Ober is 12-5 with a 3.52 ERA in 22 starts. Ober is 25-17 in his career with a 3.59 ERA in 79 starts. The Twins will face the Padres, Cardinals, and Braves following this series.

Texas Rangers Betting Preview

Over on the Rangers’ side, they’re fresh off a series versus the Boston Red Sox. Texas lost the first two installments of that set 5-4 and 9-4. On Wednesday the Rangers took a 9-7 win. Starter Dane Dunning finished with 5.0 innings and four earned runs.

As starter for Thursday the Rangers will send out Cody Bradford. So far Bradford is 4-0 with a 3.60 ERA in six Games (five starts). Bradford is 8-3 with a 4.71 ERA in 26 career Games (13 starts).

Texas Rangers vs Minnesota Twins Prediction

I’ll go with the Twins in this one. Ober is rolling along nicely these days. In his last three starts combined, Ober is a nice 3-0 with just two earned on five hits and six walks in 21.0 total innings. He should be able to start Minnesota off well.

On Wednesday the Twins were out-hit 11-7 and couldn’t get anything going outside of Carlos Santana’s solo homer. The pitching wasn’t horrible in comparison outside of a few hiccups. Minnesota needs to get the bats going Thursday but I think they’ve got a good shot at a W.
