Taylor Swift’s Dad Scott ‘Loves Travis for Her,’ According to Fan Who Sat Next to Him on Flight

Travis Kelce has the seal of approval from Taylor Swift’s dad. A woman who sat next to Scott Swift on a recent flight out of New Orleans recounted her conversation with him in a TikTok video on Tuesday, October 29.

“He did also talk about how much he loves Travis for her, which is super cute,” the woman, who’s also named Taylor, shared, adding that she “did not ask anything” about the NFL star and that Scott, 72, was simply spilling the tea. “He did say out of all of [Taylor’s] boyfriends in the last 12 years that Travis has made the biggest impact and that Travis has a phenomenal family,” she also revealed.

Scott also told his seatmate about how he knew Kylie Kelce’s dad “before [Taylor and Travis] started dating” so he “already knew the [Kelce] family [and] knew they were amazing.” Kylie, 32, has been married to Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, since 2018.

For the most part, Scott spoke about how proud he was of his daughter’s success, according to the TikToker. “He is a talker,” she admitted. “He is the sweetest man on the planet Earth. I did not even have to ask him questions and he was just, like, spilling every bit of how proud he was of Taylor.”

Scott “spent a ton of the plane ride” showing the woman videos of Taylor, 34, performing in New Orleans. “He was pointing out his favorite parts in the different shows,” the Travel agent dished. “He was so proud. He was like, ‘Look how she does this. Look at this. I love this part.’ Cutest thing in the world.”

Since the content creator works as a Travel agent, she said that was a topic the two also discussed. “He was saying that they opened their own Travel agency,” Taylor explained. “He was saying they used to have a Travel agent but it paid for them to open a Travel agency of their own and they saved half a million dollars a year opening their own and booking their own flights and hotels. They do that in-house. They take care of all of that for themselves.”

Scott was in attendance at Taylor’s three concerts in New Orleans and asked the woman not to reveal where their plane was headed. The Eras tour continues with three shows in Indianapolis, Indiana, beginning on Friday, November 1. These are the last United States shows of the tour, which will conclude in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8.

The former financial adviser’s love for Travis, 35, is not surprising, as the men have been spotted spending time together on more than one occasion. In November 2023, Travis attended his first Eras tour show as Taylor’s boyfriend and fans captured videos of him and Scott watching the concert together.

Scott has also been seen sporting Kansas City Chiefs gear, despite being a longtime fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He has attended several of Travis’ Games with Taylor, including the Chiefs’ Christmas Day Game in December 2023.
