‘Sister Wives’ star Janelle Brown ‘grateful’ for final holiday with son Garrison before his death
Janelle Brown is reflecting on the good times she shared with her son Garrison Brown before he died in an apparent suicide earlier this week.
“I had all my children together last Christmas,” the “Sister Wives” star, 54, captioned a family photo on Instagram Friday.
“It was amazing as it’s hard with everyone’s busy lives to coordinate time like this. I am extremely grateful now that we had pictures taken.”
Janelle, her grandkids and children — who also include sons Logan Brown, Hunter Brown and Gabriel Brown and daughters Madison Brown and Savannah Brown — all appeared with big smiles on their faces. Garrison also seemed in good spirits.
“Praying for you in this time. You have unapologetically stood by your children in ways only a mom knows how to do,” one person commented under the post.
Another added, “The love between you all is conveyed in everyone’s smiles. Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers. Wishing you comfort during this unimaginable time. Hugs to you and your family.”
Garrison was found dead Tuesday at his home in Arizona, reportedly with a gun in his hand. He was 25.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Janelle had been worried about him due to a concerning message he had recently sent a group of people.

“I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days,” he reportedly texted.
Per the report, Janelle contacted her son and, after exchanging a few words with him, asked one of his siblings to “check” on him because he had stopped responding.
Gabriel volunteered, and he reportedly was the one who found his brother.
Janelle and her ex-husband, Kody Brown, issued a joint statement about their late son later that day, remembering him as a “bright spot in the lives of all who knew him.”

“His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away,” they added via Instagram at the time. “We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
Janelle and Kody, 55, were married for 29 years from 1993 to 2022, and during that time he had four other wives, which was the basis of their reality show on TLC.
Garrison reportedly had been having issues with his dad leading up to his death, as Janelle allegedly told police that the father-son duo were estranged.
