Mexico in the Premier12: Calendar, games, scores, roster and players
Starting on November 9, 2024, the Mexico Baseball team will participate in the 2024 WBSC Premier12 competition. One of the most competitive competitions in international baseball, it takes place every four years and includes the best 12 national teams from all around the globe.

Mexico’s roster for the Premier12 is a blend of experienced players and emerging talents. The team is managed by Benji Gil, who also led Mexico in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. Key players include Manny Bañuelos, Victor Gonzalez, and Fernando Salas, who bring a wealth of experience from Major League Baseball.
The roster also features promising talents like Marcelo Martinez, who had an impressive season in the Chinese Professional Baseball League, and Julian Ornelas, a standout performer in the Mexican League.
Since its debut in 2015, the Premier12 comPetition has grown to become a major fixture on the international baseball calendar. The comPetition is made even more significant by the fact that it qualifies for the Olympic Games.
