SIGA partners with IFA7 to champion integrity in soccer
The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) has been named the official integrity partner of the International Football Association (IFA7), strengthening its mission to uphold transparency and fairness in Sports. The partnership, formalized in Dubai, will see IFA7 implement SIGA’s Universal Standards on Good Governance in Sport and undergo certification through the independent SIRVS rating system in 2025.
This collaboration includes SIGA mobilizing its Champions ambassador programme to participate in the IFA7 Legends Cup from February 6–9, 2025, in the UAE. This landmark tournament will feature football icons and potentially legendary teams such as FC Barcelona, Liverpool FC, Real Madrid, and Manchester United. Dedicated to promoting sport integrity, the event aims to inspire fans globally with thrilling displays of fair play and teamwork.
Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, Global CEO, SIGA, welcomed IFA7 as a new partner:
“We are delighted to announce our partnership with IFA7, a dynamic and swiftly expanding Sports events organization. This collaboration marks a significant step for SIGA, as we will work together with IFA7 and Football legends, in our role as Official Integrity Partner, to raise awareness of the critical importance of Sport Integrity”.
Armin Lauer, General Manager, IFA7 UAE, said:
“This strategic alliance underscores our shared commitment to the long-term growth and integrity of global sports and we look forward to achieving meaningful progress together in the years to come. Stay connected for more updates as we move this exciting collaboration forward.”
