Honduras and Mexico meet each other twice in this FIFA international break as part of the League A quarter-final action in the CONCACAF Nations League.
The first Game took place on Friday at Estadio Francisco Morazán in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. It ended in a 2-0 win for the home side.
Mexico is seeking a fourth consecutive semi final appearance in the Final Four which is earmarked for next March (2025) in Inglewood California.
Reappointed new El Tri boss Javier Aguirre will be looking for his first silverware and has called up a squad that includes plenty of experience and new faces with the likes of Edson Ãlvarez, Raúl Jiménez, Ãngel Sepúlveda and Henry MartÃn who are tied for second place among Liga MX top scorers in the Apertura 2024 season set to play some role in the Honduras double header.
