Dancing with the Stars‘ Sasha Farber and Jenn Tran are opening up about their special connection as dance partners.
In a post-show exclusive interview after their Disney Night performance on Oct. 22, Farber, 40, shared, “I thought we have such an incredible bond. We work so well together.”
He then explained why he opted not to kiss Tran on the mouth after dancing the rumba to “Kiss The Girl” from the Disney classic The Little Mermaid.
“This dance was a classy, elegant rumba,” he explained. “It’d be weird if I was like ra-ra-ra, so I just thought I’d be a gentleman.”
He then told Tran, “Give you a kiss on the forehead.”
Earlier in the evening, Tran, 26, echoed his sentiment during their post-dance conversation with host host Julianne Hough.
Hough, 36, asked the pair if their natural chemistry makes a difference in their dance partnership, Tran said, “Absolutely.” The former Bachelorette went on to say, ”We trust each other so much. We know each other so well. So that’s why this works so well.”
Ahead of their performance, Tran posted a video to her TikTok account on Oct. 19. The clip featured the pair riding a swan boat during an outing in L.A.’s Echo Park.
In the video, Tran jokingly referred to the outing as a “date,” explaining to followers that getting filmed doing activities in public reminded her of her days on The Bachelorette.
