The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors and the San Diego State Aztecs meet Saturday in college Football action from Snapdragon Stadium. Here’s a San Diego State vs Hawaii prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best San Diego State vs Hawaii pick.

Hawaii Rainbow Warriors Betting Preview

The Warriors opened up the year with a manageable matchup versus Delaware State and cruised to the win 35-14. The next two Games were losses however, as Hawaii fell 16-13 to UCLA and 31-13 versus Sam Houston.

Hawaii got back into the win column on September 21 versus Northern Iowa. The Warriors scored points in every quarter on the way to a 36-7 win. QB Brayden Schager finished with 374 yards, four scores and two picks in the victory effort.

San Diego State Aztecs Betting Preview

Over on the Aztecs’ side, they didn’t have any problems with Texas A&M-Commerce in their opener during a 45-14 win. San Diego State came back to earth in their next two Games though, losing 21-0 to Oregon State and 31-10 to California.

Matched up against Central Michigan, the Aztecs were up 21-19 going into the final quarter but couldn’t hold on in a 22-21 loss. Danny O’Neil came away with 246 pass yards and two scores. Tops in rushing was Marquez Cooper with 34 rushes for 111 yards and a TD.

San Diego State vs Hawaii Prediction

I’ll probably stick with San Diego State. Also probably not touching it. The Aztecs looked good in the first half but failed to score after the break and only held the ball for 24:33. San Diego State gave up 452 yards on defense and more importantly a perfect 4-of-4 on fourth-down tries.

As for Hawaii, they’re coming off a nice effort versus Northern Iowa with 528 total yards (379 passing), 7.9 yards per play, 29 first downs and 6-of-9 on third-down conversions. Hawaii has scored 35 or more points in both of their wins this year, so they’ll want to get off to a fast start in order to keep pace here.
