Ryan Christie Reveals Greg Taylor-inspired Tattoo
Former Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie has lifted the lid on his tattoos, one of which was inspired by current Hoops left-back Greg Taylor.
Christie is, at the minute, away on international duty with Scotland ahead of upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Croatia and Portugal.
Across the Scotland National Team’s socials, a video recently went out of the 29-year-old explaining all of his tattoos.
He revealed that he likes to keep them above t-shirt length to please his mum and that every one has a specific inspiration.
At the end of the video of the midfielder explaining his art, he got to a mini love heart.
Christie revealed that his close friend and current Celt Taylor inspired it, but the left-back refused to get his own to match when they were on holiday in Ibiza.
“Most of the time I’ve stayed away from tattoos when I’m abroad,” said Christie (Scotland National Team).
“I got one in Ibiza with Greg Taylor. A little love heart on my shoulder – that’s for GT.
“He’s not got one to match – I couldn’t convince him.”
Close friends off the park as a result of their time at Celtic, both Christie and Taylor have recently made headlines.
The now Bournemouth man supposedly donated £20,000 to the ‘Save ICT Fund’, a GoFundMe page that aims to raise the £200,000 Caley Thistle needs to avoid administration.
On the other hand, Taylor will be a Dad soon. It was revealed yesterday, and he and his wife Laura are expecting a baby.
Uncertainty reigns regarding Taylor’s contractual situation at Celtic, but off the park, he undoubtedly has familial stability.
