Rhode Island Weather for August 12, 2024 – Jack Donnelly

A weak upper disturbance rolls in from the northwest, and should only mean some scattered afternoon cloud cover with maybe some virga spotted from time to time. (Virga being rain falling from clouds that doesn’t reach the ground…).

Otherwise, we’ll have a very nice VJ Day here in Rhody, with highs in the dry, low 80’s after a chilly morning low in the low 60’s. Westerly winds will gust up to 20 mph at times…

It’s an “A-” day!
