Author and prominent figure Reham Khan recently took to social media to share a series of throwback images from her younger years, accompanied by an empowering message that resonated with her followers.

In the nostalgic snapshots, Reham can be seen reflecting on various moments of her past. The first image captures her in a vibrant red shirt, her hair casually tied back as she offers a subtle smile to the camera. In the subsequent photo, a young Reham exudes joy as she leans against a rail, sporting a grey and white shirt. The third photograph showcases her elegance in a traditional red saree paired with a blue blouse, with long earrings gracefully dangling beside her neck.

Accompanying the images was a heartfelt note penned by Reham, wherein she addressed her audience directly, acknowledging the impact her life story has had on many. She expressed gratitude for the events that shaped her journey, emphasising that despite life's challenges, it remains inherently beautiful. Reham encouraged her followers to embrace the idea that happiness is not contingent upon external validation or circumstances but is instead a product of one's own mindset and actions.

"Many of you have written to me that my story gives you strength," she began in her Instagram post. "I want you to know that I am here because of all the events in my life. I want to assure you that life is beautiful even when it’s challenging. Life is so worth living and living well that you will understand one day why it was the way it was."

She also reassured her audience that despite the inevitable ups and downs of life, individuals possess the inherent strength and resilience to navigate through them. Reham made sure to highlight the importance of self-reliance and trusting in one's abilities, urging her followers to cultivate a sense of independence and reliance on their faith and inner strength.

She shared, "Some people will love us some people will leave us. Some will resent us. Some will hate our guts but as long as we remind ourselves that our happiness is not dependent on someone loving us or leaving us, hating us or helping us. Our happiness is created by us by our mindset by taking action. Yes, our innocence is replaced by knowledge but that’s not a bad thing."

In a particularly poignant conclusion, she reflected on her role as a mother, expressing her natural instinct to protect her daughter while also recognising the importance of allowing her to learn to protect herself. This sentiment resonated with many, highlighting the universal struggle of balancing protection with empowerment in the journey of parenthood.

"I have a natural urge to protect my daughter but then I fear she will never learn to protect herself," said Reham. "We must be our own protectors. Rely on your Creator and the wonderful abilities He has given you. You need no other human. Trust me you will be fine," she concluded.
