An optical illusion revealing the type of person you are has gone viral on TikTok.

The account that the video was posted on has nearly 300,000 followers on TikTok, sharing various optical illusions to test your thinking styles and personality types.

One of the latest videos on the account received more than 272,000 views and hundreds of comments.

“Are you logical or intuitive?” they asked in the video.

There are two images that people may see at first glance, and which one you see determines if you are an analytical or intuitive thinker.

So, which one do you see first?

Analytical thinkers

“If you’ve seen three bears first, you have an analytical mind,” they said.

“You’re good at analysing facts and figures and have a logical approach.

“You don’t act on impulse. You prefer a step-by-step approach to things.”

Logical thinkers are effective problem solvers, the video said. They follow rules and regulations, and notice key facts and details that others may miss.

“When you have the chance, you bring out the most logical arguments and details that others probably fail to grasp,” they said.

“When given a problem or critical situation, you don’t see a problem as a whole but rather try to break the problem down into distinct concepts, making the situation manageable.

“You have a keen eye for detail, as evidenced by the fact that you could easily find the three grey bears in the photo.”

Intuitive thinkers

Those with an intuitive mind, however, see something else before they notice the three bears.

“If you first saw the snow capped mountains, even if you realise later that there are also three bears in the photo, you’re an intuitive thinker,” the video said.

“You follow your inner voice and are rarely disappointed. Your intuitive powers are your most powerful weapon, whether you realise it or not.

“Even if people insist you to go right, you’ll walk to the left.”

Instead of conventional rules and regulations, intuitive thinkers follow their gut feeling “as a compass” to solve problems.

“Your intuition is strong, and often right,” they said in the video.

“You may sometimes miss facts, but you rely on your past experiences to guide you forward.”

While people may think this makes intuitive thinkers “indecisive”, the video said using intuition is an “efficient” way to make decisions.

“You’re smart enough to interpret the patterns and styles of a particular situation, which means you not only process the available information, but also try to think outside the box.”
