NHL Player Props and Best Bets Today for 11-26: DeBrusk DeFires Away
It's a small two-game slate on Tuesday night on the ice, so the volume might not be there, but the value certainly is.
My NHL picks focus on a revenge angle in Boston tonight with Jake DeBrusk's return to TD Garden and stacking a pair of former first-round picks vs. the Habs in Montreal.
NHL prop picks and best bets for November 26
- DeBrusk o2.5 SOG (+150 at bet365)
- Cooley + Guenther o0.5 points each (+160 at bet365)
Picks made on 11-26 at 10:30 a.m. ET.
Today’s NHL prop picks and best bets
Prop bet #1: Jake DeBrusk Over 2.5 shots on goal
+150 at bet365
There are a few angles to this bet.
First is the price. Over 2.5 is +150 at bet365 but as short as +119 at Pinnacle, which is the price it should be. That is a massive difference across books, and even the +140 at DraftKings is a buy for me. Pinnacle is always the best place to look to see where the market is going, and it's trending down for sure.
Next is the opportunity. Jake DeBrusk has thrived playing on the top line with Elias Pettersson. He's coming off a three-point Game vs. Ottawa with five shots on net and has seen his time on ice jump up by nearly three minutes per Game.
With JT Miller taking a leave from the team, DeBrusk's offensive opportunities have increased. Brock Boeser will likely return tonight, but he was skating on the third line, and it would be Kiefer Sherwood who would lose his PP1 role in Boeser's place.
Finally, there is the revenge angle. DeBrusk spent his first seven years with the Bruins before heading to Vancouver in the offseason. This will be his only trip to Boston this year, so there will certainly be some money on the board tonight for him to perform.
Boston is a tough SOG matchup, but the price is right, and he could get three of the team's 25 shots playing on the top line and PP1. His teaMMAtes will be looking to get him the puck tonight.

Prop bet #2: Logan Cooley + Dylan Guenther Over 0.5 points each
+160 at bet365
Logan Cooley and Dylan Guenther are two Top 10 picks who were both drafted in the last four years. They're playing on a line at 5-on-5 with Jack McBain but have also been promoted to the top power play. The duo has combined for eight points over the last three Games and have contributed on three power-play goals. These two are the future of the newest franchise in hockey.
They also get an elite matchup vs. the Habs who own a 3.80 GAA, second-last in the league, while getting an 87% save percentage at all strengths — a Bottom 5 number.
There should also be plenty of PP time for both teams. The Hockey Club have been shorthanded a whopping 33 times over their last seven games and have allowed nine power-play goals over the last five. That could turn into more opportunities for Utah because when one team gets penalties, the makeup call is right around the corner.
Cooley and Guenther are the new blood and are driving the Utah offense. A matchup vs. the Habs is a great place to stack lines.
