The week in Major League Baseball continues with a small 7-Game slate on Monday. Plenty of teams in the league are off (which is frequently the case on Monday), but there is still enough action to whet the apPetites of fans and bettors. The slate includes Orioles vs Rays, Yankees vs Royals and Blue Jays vs Brewers. Below are my MLB parlay picks for Monday, June 10, as we look to make it 2 in a row after cashing Saturday’s MLB parlay at +824 odds. You can also check out all of our MLB picks for each of today’s big Games.

Orioles -1.5 (+120)

Blue Jays ML (+100)

Astros -1.5 (+145)

MLB parlay odds: +978

For this MLB parlay, I am going with 2 favorites on the run line and 1 underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Baltimore Orioles -1.5 over Tampa Bay Rays (+120)

The Orioles are going for a wrap-around 4-Game sweep on Monday in Tampa. They took the first 3 contests by a combined score of 20-5 and are set up perfectly for more success with Corbin Burnes now toeing the rubber. Burnes is 6-2 with a 2.26 ERA and 1.02 WHIP, looking every bit like the Cy Young candidate Baltimore envisioned when it acquired his services. He also boasts a 76-to-21 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 79.1 innings of work. Given how anemic the Rays’ offense has been so far in this series, there is no reason to expect anything other than domination by Burnes. Ryan Pepiot is solid for Tampa Bay, but he has never really been allowed to run up his pitch count too high. With a full 9 at-bats as the visiting team, the O’s should get to TB’s bullpen to the extent that covering the -1.5 number shouldn’t be too much to ask.

Toronto Blue Jays ML over Milwaukee Brewers (+100)

Jose Berrios is taking the mound on Monday and that can only be good news for Toronto. Berrios is 5-4 with a 2.80 ERA and 1.11 WHIP. The Blue Jays have won 9 of his 13 starts, including 6 by multiple runs. Berrios has delivered 5 quality starts in a row heading into today’s date with Milwaukee, which has lost 4 of its last 6 Games and in those 4 setbacks scored a grand total of 4 runs. There is no reason to think the Brewers’ offense is going to find any success against Berrios. Meanwhile, the Jays have won 4 of their last 5 and in their 3 most recent victories they have crossed the plate 19 times. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is batting .324 with 2 homers so far in June. Give me Toronto as a small underdog.

Houston Astros -1.5 over San Francisco Giants (+145)

Following a disastrous start to this 2024 campaign, the Astros are slowly inching their way toward .500. They have taken 2 series in a row (over the Cardinals and Angels) and have scored at least 6 runs in 6 of their last 7 contests. Over the past 7 days, Yainer Diaz is batting .320 with 4 home runs, Yordan Alvarez is at .391 with 2 homers and Jose Altuve is hitting .357 with a dinger. If Spencer Arrighetti turns in even a decent performance on the mound, Houston’s offense will likely provide him with enough run support to win and cover. Arrighetti should be able to do it, too. He has figured it out on the heels of a dreadful April, with a 4.36 ERA in May and a 3.00 ERA in June. Across 9.0 innings in his 2 most recent appearances, he has surrendered only 1 run on 5 hits while striking out 12.
