Get to Know Jeff Satur, from Musical Passion to Fashion

Jeff’s career first took off in fashion, appearing in shows and advertising campaigns. Despite the challenges that come with navigating the Entertainment world, he found unwavering support from his mother, who encouraged him to pursue his creative ambitions. His start into the music scene began in 2013 when he released covers and original songs as an independent artist. However, it was his acting debut in the 2019 Thai drama He She It that opened the doors to his eventual breakout role in KinnPorsche. Playing Kim, the youngest son of a mafia boss, Jeff captured global attention and further showcased his musical talent by writing and performing Why Don’t You Stay for the series’ soundtrack.

Jeff’s Musical Passion

Jeff‘s love for music began at the age of nine, sparked by a fascination with rock bands and the idea of mastering an instrument that could play any song. Starting with the acoustic guitar, he later taught himself drums, electric guitar, and piano, ultimately pursuing formal vocal training. Drawing inspiration from bands like AC/DC and Japanese rock legends X Japan, Jeff admired the emotional power of music, especially the artistry of Yoshiki Hayashi, X Japan’s co-founder. While Jeff’s music doesn’t follow the hard rock path of his idols, it embodies the emotional intensity and passion that first captivated him.

His own songs lean into a softer, more soulful style, with lyrics that explore love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Jeff’s smooth voice and relatable themes make his music easy to connect with, and he’s driven by the desire to evoke strong emotions in his listeners, much like the music that inspired him.

Acting and Recent Projects

While Jeff Satur’s musical talents shine, his acting career has brought him into the international spotlight. His portrayal of Kim in KinnPorsche not only cemented his status as a rising star but earned him a multitude of fans worldwide. More recently, he played the leading role in The Paradise of Thorns, a 2024 Thai film, alongside Engfa Waraha. The film tells the story of Thongkhan (played by Jeff), who tragically loses his partner Sek, and faces a legal battle to claim the assets they built together. The show is a gripping tale of love, loss and resilience, showcasing Jeff’s range as an actor.

In addition, his latest BL (Boy’s Love) series Wuju Bakery, co-starring Barcode Tinnasit Isarapongporn, has generated a buzz following the success of KinnPorsche. The series, set to release later this year, promises an interesting blend of romance and sci-fi, with Jeff playing Ra On, an alien whose crash-landing in a small town bakery sparks a series of chaotic and heartwarming events.

Next year, Jeff takes on a new challenge with Happy Ending Series, marking his first work as a producer under his label Studio on Saturn. This project features a star-studded cast, including Jeff and Barcode as Damon and Anawin. Thai actors Mike Angelo and 4EVE’s Jorin Khumpiraphan will also join the cast. The plot centres on Anawin, an anti-fan who despises the web novel Finn & Damon, only for Damon, the antagonist, to step out of the fictional world and meet him in real life. The release is set for 2025, with more details to be revealed by Studio on Saturn soon.

Collaborating with Cartier

In June 2024, Jeff Satur was appointed as Cartier’s newest ambassador for Thailand, joining the ranks of notable Thai stars like Kimberely Anne Woltemas and Thanapob Leeratanakachorn. His collaboration with Cartier is a merge of his individuality with the timeless designs of the luxury house. Satur recently performed his greatest hits at Cartier’s Trinity 100 celebration, closing the night with a spectacular performance that solidified his position as a face to keep an eye on in the coming years.
