Mauricio Umansky: Why I ‘don’t want to ask’ Kyle Richards about her ‘connection’ with Morgan Wade
It appears even Mauricio Umansky doesn’t know what’s really going on with his estranged wife, Kyle Richards, and Morgan Wade.
On Netflix’s “Buying Beverly Hills,” the real estate magnate admitted the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star and the country music singer have a “connection” — but that’s about all he knows.
“They definitely have some sort of a connection together; there’s no question about that. They spend a lot of time together,” he told a co-worker in Season 2 of the series, which premiered Friday.
“Maybe one of the reasons I don’t want to ask is because I don’t want to put the extra pressure on her. If it’s working for her and it’s giving her the opportunity to be dealing with our separation … I’m good with that,” he added.
Richards, 55, and Wade, 29, have denied being romantically involved, though a source told Us Weekly Thursday that the “confused” Bravolebrity is “excited to have these feelings after losing connection with Mauricio in their marriage.”
The duo have maintained they’re just close friends who are filming a documentary together, but Richards raised eyebrows when the “Wilder Days” singer was photographed caressing the reality star’s rear end while posing for photos last month.
Richards further fueled romance rumors when she debuted a cowgirl hat tattoo, which some fans believed was an homage to Wade while others thought it could be a reference to her love of Western-themed hotspot Kemo Sabe in Aspen, Colo.

Amid the speculation surrounding Richards and Wade, fans also have wondered what led to the demise of the mom of four‘s marriage to Umansky, 53.
“It’s nobody’s f–king Business,” Richards asserted after “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen asked a fan-submitted question about why she has not come clean about the reason for their breakup.
In the “RHOBH” finale, however, she had said “there were things that happened that made [her] lose [her] trust” in her husband.
Page Six confirmed in July 2023 that Richards and Umansky had split.
