Lonely Shelter Dog Ignored Humans Until Finally Finding True Love, Only to Lose It Forever

A dog was just days away from being euthanized when a woman saw her photo online and decided to intervene to save her. Chelsea Elizabeth Cossairt was responsible for offering the furry girl a new opportunity when it was believed that everything was lost.

She was completely disoriented, malnourished and immersed in sadness and desolation. She had so many Health problems that her rescuers chose to move her to death row and put her to sleep.

The photo of her had been shared online, but when Cossairt saw it she knew immediately that she had to do something, she sent a request and soon received a call that ended up changing not only her life, but that of the dog. who was called Clementine.

Her first caregiver explained to her that the dog’s Health was quite delicate, she had a long road to recovery but that her fate was completely uncertain. Even so, Cossairt was willing to adopt her and help her heal her physical wounds, but especially her emotional ones.

When Cossairt met her, it was clear to her that she had never received a gesture of love before. In this regard he commented:

“Clementine was absolutely terrified of people and she wouldn’t look anyone in the eye. She was shaking all the time, she was hiding behind furniture and sitting facing the wall. Her eyes were defeated and empty. “She never looked us in the face and bowed her head every time we walked toward her or near her.”

Fortunately, Clementine trusted other puppies so when she arrived at the new home she approached them and little by little she came out of her shell. Moose and Maple, other rescued furry children, became her great support. They seemed to inject him with small doses of energy and that sad little dog was becoming a thing of the past.

For months, Clementine faced a long recovery process, constant visits to the vet, receiving special treatment for infections and allergies, and also attending therapy. She seemed to recognize that everything was getting better and that she was in the best of hands; finally, she dared to look her adoptive parents in the eyes.

This beautiful dog has achieved an incredible transformation, she has become a curious and happy furry girl, it is as if she is experiencing all those stages that she did not have when she was a puppy.

Only true love can transform the hardest heart. We love knowing that this adorable furball enjoys a real family and spends her days being loved.
