Las Vegas Raiders’ Maxx Crosby believes in UFOs and he’s seen one
The NFL’s offseason is always a time of intrigue. There’s often roster rebuilding, a spattering of high-profile trades, a few firings in the front office, and of course controversies as players often find themselves on the wrong side of the law. An apparent side effect of having too much time on their hands it would seem. Yet, what we don’t normally see are UFOs. Yes you read that right.
Raiders’ Maxx Crosby believes in UFOs and he’s seen one
If you managed to catch this week’s episode of the Jim Rome Show, then you most certainly saw Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby and more specifically, his comments about UFOs. Crosby explained that it was during a team flight on the way home from a Game in Miami when he and teaMMAte, Andre James, were discussing UFOs and aliens, something he admitted they love to do. The defensive edge was then asked if he believed in UFOs and his answer was frank.
“That’s not even a question,” Crosby said. “I don’t want anyone to come after me but that’s public information. But Andre James, one of my teaMMAtes, our center on the team, he’s all into UFOs and all types of conspiracy theories so me and him have that bond in the locker room.”Yet, Crosby wasn’t finished. The 26-year-old defensive end then proceeded to explain that not only does he believe in UFOs, but that he’s actually seen one. According to Crosby, it was during a team flight on the way home from a Game in Miami. Naturally, he and James were discussing their favorite topic - UFOs in case you missed that - when things took a rather unexpected turn.
“It’s real,” Crosby declared. “Like we were literally on a flight back from Miami, and we’ve seen a UFO with our own eyes. And that sounds crazy, but you can ask the pilots, anybody that was there. It was wild. And I seen it, and they had no idea what it was. There was nothing on the radar, nothing. And it was like a big shining light going in and out.”
Now, to be fair to Crosby, UFOs were in fact a major talking point this past year, after 14-year intelligence veteran, David Grusch, appeared before the House Oversight Committee’s national security subcommittee. Grusch, along with two former fighter pilots, gave accounts of firsthand experience with UAP, also known as an “unidentified anomalous phenomena,” or for Crosby and most of us in the public, a UFO. Regardless, with the Raiders having missed the playoffs for the past two straight seasons, it’s not a bad thing to see Crosby keeping things light as he prepares for what will surely be a tough campaign in a loaded AFC.
