My analysis
It’s common knowledge that LeBron James is good at everything on a basketball court. There’s a reason he’s considered the greatest ever by many. Perhaps his playmaking ability still goes underrated, though, improving vastly over the years and on full display to start the season.

He's averaging 9.6 assists per night right now and has been going off over the last four games. He’s hit the Over comfortably in all of these matchups, dishing out 12, 14, 16, and 13 dimes. 

Perhaps The King isn’t scoring 25+ points consistently anymore but he’s sure giving everyone around him the best opportunity to be effective offensively.

The New Orleans Pelicans are not a solid defensive team, ranking 28th in the Association. They also sit 25th in opponent assists allowed. This is a great chance for Bron to drop some more dimes. I'm playing the Over with confidence.

The Los Angeles Lakers are on a heater, winning four in a row. During that span, they’ve taken down the Spurs, Grizzlies, Raptors, and 76ers. L.A.'s playing with a lot of confidence and tends to have success against these Pelicans. 

J.J. Redick’s group was 3-1 against New Orleans last season and has won six of the last eight meetings overall. Last season, the Lakers won nearly 70% of their games as a moneyline favorite. The Pels are still without Zion Williamson and Dejounte Murray, so L.A. shouldn’t have any problems taking care of business.

Anthony Davis is playing at an MVP level this season. He’s averaging 31.1 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 11 outings while shooting 41.7% from downtown. While AD doesn’t shoot a ton of threes, it’s an improved skill in his game.
