The Houston Astros and the Los Angeles Angels square off Saturday in MLB action from Angel Stadium. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this Game. Here’s a LA Angels vs Houston Astros Prediction.

The Houston Astros will send out Justin Verlander for the start here and Verlander is 3-6 with a 5.30 ERA and 63 strikeouts this season. In his last five starts against the Angels, Verlander is 3-1 with a 4.33 ERA and 34 strikeouts. Houston Astros Recap
The Houston Astros come into this one looking to build on their series-opening 5-3 win over the Angels from Friday’s matchup. The win puts the Astros in a good spot to bounce back from a series loss to the Oakland A’s to start the week.
Astros Trying To Lock Up AL West
Going into Friday, Jose Altuve has 174 hits and a .302 batting average with 19 home runs, 62 RBIs and 28 doubles while Yordan Alvarez also has 32 homers with 80 RBIs and 31 doubles. Altuve has the Astros’ team lead with 20 stolen bases so far this season. Jeremy Pena also has 147 hits and a .267 batting average as well as 16 stolen bases of his own this season. Alex Bregman’s added 22 homers and 65 RBIs and 28 doubles also.
Los Angeles Angels Recap
The Los Angeles Angels will try to bounce back after their loss to kick off the series in Friday’s matchup. The loss put the Angels at risk of another series defeat after falling flat against the Twins and Rangers over the last week and a half.
Angels Trying To Play Spoiler
Entering Friday’s action, Taylor Ward has 130 hits along with 26 doubles, 23 home runs and 67 RBIs while Zach Neto has 31 doubles, 21 home runs, a team-high 70 RBIs, 122 strikeouts and 29 stolen bases. Luis Rengifo also has 85 hits and 24 stolen bases while Jo Adell has 20 home runs, 62 RBIs and 15 stolen bases as well. Logan O’Hoppe has 104 hits and Neto has 126 hits as well with O’Hoppe adding 19 homers and 54 RBIs.
LA Angels vs Houston Astros Prediction
I’m going to take a shot on the Angels here. I don’t love fading Houston this time of year, especially when the lowly Angels are the alternative, but the fact of the matter is that the Angels have an edge here with Verlander not looking like his normal dominant self on the mound. I think the Angels can still provide value and in the end, this might actually be one of their most winnable spots in the remainder of the series. Give me the Halos.
