Kim Kardashian leaves price tag on her dress at Balenciaga show: Faux pas or fashion statement?

Looks like Demna forgot the scissors.

Kim Kardashian appeared to suffer from a bit of a wardrobe malfunction as she attended Balenciaga’s Paris Fashion Week show on Sunday, with the “Kardashians” star wearing a sleek black lace gown … with the tag still attached.

The Skims founder, 43, looked glam in her sheer lace creation at the designer’s fall/winter 2024-2025 presentation, and while she modeled the dress sans tag in a video on her Instagram Story, it appears creative director Demna Gvasalia must’ve popped it back on when she got to the show as a statement accessory.

The reality star — who recently sported a Mugler corset displaying her tiny waist — showed off a long nude manicure, wearing her dark hair pulled up in a high ponytail.

She went jewelry free for the event, carrying just a black clutch in terms of accessories.

While it might’ve looked like Kim forgot to snip off her tag, the accessory was proven to be an intentional move once the runway show began.

Models showed off an array of edgy looks complete with the same Balenciaga tag hanging from black cords as they strutted the catwalk, with Kardashian watching on from the front row.

“Kim Kardashian wore a Balenciaga dress and deliberately left the price tag on! Expect this to become a new fashion trend 😂” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Hasn’t she always worn a price tag?” another Twitter media user quipped.

“I want to put the balenciaga tag on everything” one fan commented on a runway snap the designer shared on Instagram.

Along with her price tag moment, the Skkn by Kim founder has been busy rocking one fur coat after the next in Paris, stepping out in a floor-length brown fur topper on Saturday and a leopard-print look on Sunday.

With Demna’s track record of turning the banal into (expensive) must-have items, we wouldn’t be surprised if the detachable price tag becomes the next pricey accessory.
