Rangers winger Vaclav Cerny has admitted his side were ‘outclassed’ by Celtic in every department on Sunday.

The Hoops romped to a dominant 3-0 win in the Glasgow derby, with goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi, and Callum McGregor helping them on their way to victory.

Brendan Rodgers remains the top dog in Glasgow, with his side sitting pretty at the top of the table during the first international break of the season.

The Irishman knows how to get the better of Rangers, and he proved that once more at the weekend.

His men utterly dominated their city rivals, as much that Cerny has admitted the Gers were outplayed.

“We didn’t do well at all, they (Celtic) outclassed us in everything”, the wide-man admitted (Football Scotland).

“Of course, I never played for Sparta Prague or Slavia Prague in their derby.

“But compared with our main derby (in the Czech Republic) it (the Glasgow derby) is far bigger and more brutal.”

Rangers players know the lay of the land in Glasgow.

Cerny has only been in the door at Ibrox a few weeks but has already experienced a humiliating derby loss.

He and his teaMMAtes were outshone in every department on Sunday, with the Celts running riot.

The Bhoys were sensational and deserve every bit of credit they have received.

Now, though, it is about improving and moving on, with a Game against Hearts lying in wait a week on Saturday.

The Champions League then begins days later as an exciting period for the Hoops continues.
