How to get tickets for Euro 2024?

This week saw Ukraine, Poland and Georgia secure the final three places at the forthcoming 2024 European Championships which will be staged in Germany and run from 14 June and 14 July.

The 24 qualifiers have been drawn into six groups of four with sixteen teams set to advance to the second stage with all eyes on a place in the final which will be held at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium on 14 July as Italy look to defend their crown.

Securing Euro 2024 tickets

The initial demand for tickets at the comPetition has been sky-high with 2.3 million requests alone for the final at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin which has a capacity for 74,475 fans. 20 million tickets were requested in the opening window with half a million ticket requests alone hailing from the USA, Canada, Australia, China and Mexico.

Supporters anxious to be in Germany and watch the action first hand during the summer and who missed out on previous sales windows are in luck as UEFA has confirmed a final sales opportunity in May.

Fans who have tickets and can no longer attend the games (Wales, Greece and Iceland supporters would fall into this category) can put their tickets up for resale with a mid-April deadline. These tickets will then go on general sale early May via the official Euro 2024 ticket portal.

The first step for anyone interested in bagging tickets for the comPetition is to create an account via the official ticketing portal and then sit tight with the credit card at the ready for UEFA to confirm the new sales window.

Euro 2024 ticket prices

UEFA have divided the tickets into four separate categories with the Fans First seats being located behind the goals. Category 3 seats are located in the corners and behind the goals, further away from the pitch than Category 2 seats which are located in the corners and behind the goals; or on the main and opposite stands.

The best seats in the house are the Category 1 tickets which are located on the main and opposite stands; or in the lower blocks in the corners.

Ticket prices range from the cheapest ticket at €30 through to €1000 which would secure a top placed seat at the final match.
