This tournament is the second-last event of the 2022-23 PGA Tour season. Therefore, many participating players will aim to secure a place in the top 125 of the FedEx Cup standings to be fully exempt for the 2024 season, as only two events remain in the tour.

Although it is not a PGA Tour signature event, there are several big names in the field, including Adam Scott, Lucas Glover, and Brendon Todd. The Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda, will host the championship.

Seamus Power is the defending champion but won’t participate in the upcoming Bermuda Championship.

The most recent winner, Erik van Rooyen, who triumphed at the World Wide Technology Championship just last week, will be present.

With only two weeks remaining in the Golf season, all eyes are on Beau Hossler, Matt Kuchar, and Mackenzie Hughes, who currently hold the top three spots out of the coveted ten that guarantee entry into next year’s prestigious $20 million signature events at Pebble Beach and Riviera.

The Butterfield Bermuda Championship, scheduled for 2023, will have a total purse of $6.5 million, with the winner taking home $1,170,000.
