Governor Kathy Hochul of New York announced that the NFL Wild Card game would be postponed at a news conference Saturday. Kickoff time has been moved to Monday at 4:30 p.m. ET. “I’ve been in communication with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell regarding the dangerous conditions in Buffalo this weekend. In consultation with our emergency response teams, Buffalo Bills leadership, and the NFL, the Bills game will be postponed to 4:30 pm Monday,” Hochul said.

This isn’t the first time the NFL has had to move games due to bad weather. Everyone loves watching a game in the snow, especially from home, but sometimes it’s just too much.
This weekend in Buffalo is the 18th time a Game has been cancelled in postponed in modern day NFL. Let’s look at some other times the NFL had no other choice but to postpone Games because of weather conditions. As we can see below the biggest losers in this category are Miami and Buffalo for obvious reasons. The snow effect around Buffalo and hurricane alley in Southern Florida have caused lots of problems over the years for those two NFL franchises.
