12:40 pm ET Parx (Race 1) – He’ssosubtle 2/1 (2-star play)

The 4-year-old He’ssosubtle has won twice from 14 starts at this venue and came within a head of adding to that tally when runner-up over a mile and 70 yards in a similar race to this last month.

He showed good form on that occasion having been beaten 7 lengths when 4th having been ridden from off the pace over this track and trip previously . Jockey Luis A Rodriguez Castro keeps the ride and is taken to steer the son of Keen Ice to victory.

2:28 pm ET Parx (Race 5) – Canny Land 2/1 (2-star play)

Canny Land failed to shine when beaten over 19 lengths in finishing 5th in a $40,000 maiden claiming contest over 6.5 furlongs on the main track when making her Parx debut in February. She was given a break following that effort and showed improved form when 8.5 lengths 6th over 7.5 furlongs on her turf debut last month.

She contested a $30,000 maiden claimer on that occasion and, dropping in grade, looks capable of breaking her maiden on her first start since joining the Michael V Pino barn.

2:59 pm ET Parx (Race 6) – Pudge Boy Palace 2/1 (2-star play)

Pudge Boy Palace has shown good form in two starts since joining the Hugh I McMahon stable from Anthony Farrior earlier this month.  The first of those saw him place 2nd when beaten a nose in a $25,000 claiming contest over an extended  mile at Laurel in early February.

Given a break after that, the gelding returned with a head triumph over 6 furlongs in a $50,000 claimer at Monmouth Park in May and he is taken to complete a double.
