1:36 pm Belmont Park (Race 2) – Pressure 2/1 (2-star play)

Recorded a seven-and-a-half-length fourth when contesting a $40,000 claiming contest over a mile at this venue earlier this month. Faded late on that day in the style of a horse would appreciate a return to sprinting and he should appreciate the drop in grade also. The gelding has performed well in allowance company in the past and with Manny Franco up looks capable of registering his first victory since breaking his maiden at Oaklawn Park in December of 2021.  

2:07 pm Belmont Park (Race 3) – Slipstream 7/2 (2-star play)

Trained by Christophe Clement, the selection put a disappointing ninth-place finish over 6 furlongs in an allowance optional claimer at Aqueduct in April behind her when finishing three-and-a-half-lengths fourth in a similar contest here at the start of the month. The daughter of More Than Ready is the winner of her only previous start at this distance and coming into this following a 49.80 4-furlong work at Churchill Downs is taken to register her fourth win. 

2:38 pm Belmont Park (Race 4) – Super Duper Fly 5/2 (2-star play)

The daughter of Union Rags performed well when drawing clear of her rivals in the stretch to deliver a five-and-three-quarter-length victory in a $30,000 claiming contest at Monmouth Park last month. Failed to shine when upped to allowance company on turf at the same venue subsequently but returned to the main track and switched to a $25,000 claiming contest. She looks capable of providing handler Tony Perez Flores and jockey Manny Franco with a winner in this mile event.    

3:10 pm Belmont Park (Race 5) – Sacred Rhyme 5/2 (2-star play)

A $310,000 purchase as a yearling at the Keeneland September Sale back in 2021 the son of Mendelssohn made her belated debut when third in a maiden special weight over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at Monmouth Park last month. The 3-year-old’s breeding suggests that he should appreciate the step up in distance he gets here, and having drawn the rail ahead of this contest he is taken to help trainer Chad Brown improve on his 26% strike rate (24 of 94) at this meeting. 

5:20 pm Belmont Park (Race 9) – Financial Advice 2/1 (2-star play)

The French-bred filly showed plenty of ability when debuting with a length third in a mile-and-a-sixteenth maiden special weight at Tampa Bay Downs in February. Trained by Chad Brown, the filly proved a disappointment when fading late on over the same trip when making her New York debut at this venue last month. The 3-year-old has since registered a number of works at Monmouth Park and looks capable of breaking her maiden at the third time of asking.
