1:36 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 2) – Idle Chatter 8/1 (1-star play)

The daughter of Justify delivered a solid figure when two lengths second, having raced from off the pace in a seven-and-a-half-furlong maiden special weight at Gulfstream Park in February. Jack Sisteron’s charge appeared to find the mile-and-one-eighth distance too far when fading into eighth having raced prominently on a good turf track at Keeneland subsequently. Looks capable of registering her first victory with Jose Ortiz looking to improve on an impressive 23% strike-rate (37/163) at this meeting.

2:09 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 3) – Uragano 8/5 (2-star play)

The four-year-old delivered a neck victory when racing prominently in a $40,000 maiden claimer on the main track at Aqueduct at the end of March. Making his debut for Charlton Baker on that occasion and is expected to make a winning return to dirt following two runs on turf. The most recent of those two turf efforts saw him finish two lengths sixth in a $30,000 claiming race over a mile-and-one-sixteenth recently. Looks up to recording a second career success.

2:38 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 4) – Prince James 5/2 (2-star play)

Registered his fourth career success when taking a $10,000 claiming contest over a six-and-a-half-furlong event at Aqueduct in February. The son of Tiznow has delivered second place finishes in both subsequent outings including when beaten one-and-a-quarter-lengths over six furlongs here just under a month ago. The return to this trip should not prove an issue with the gelding having won two of his six starts at the distance. Selected to deliver a victory with Dylan Davis booked to ride.

3:09 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 5) – Relate 5/2 (2-star play)

Trainer Todd Pletcher heads into this contest with a 21% strike-rate (12/57) at this venue and his representative showed promise when runner-up on his first start for him in a $50,000 starter allowance over a mile on turf at Saratoga last August. Off the track since a below par fifth on the main track at Aqueduct in November and the return to turf here is a positive. Taken to record a victory on his first start since a gelding operation.

3:41 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 6) – Breath Away 2/1 (2-star play)

The winner of two of her four starts for the Christophe Clement stable the daughter of Bated Breath registered her second victory when scoring by two-and-a-half-lengths in the Sanibel Island Stakes over seven-and-a-half-furlongs on turf at Gulfstream Park at the start of April. Subsequently finishing runner-up in a stakes event over a mile at Pimlico last month. Has raced from off the pace in each of her last three starts and looks capable of registering a second stakes triumph.
