“I’m struggling,” Charley said in a video posted to TikTok, detailing how she came across the creepy surprise.
“I look over to my neighbour’s house and ... I think I’m contemplating moving out over this,” she said.
Walking over to her neighbour’s property, she filmed a large snake skin draped over their hedge
She said her neighbour later measured the snake skin at 2.8m in length.
“There’s the snake skin, but where’s the snake?” she asked.
TikTok users were quick to comment that a snake sheds its skin when it is growing larger.
“Terrifying to think they shed because they’re growing,” one user said.
Pet owner Charley said she was nervous that the snake remained somewhere around her house and was worried her dogs might get bitten.
“I’m scared for my dogs, they would be silly enough to play with it,” she said.
Charley said she has since locked her dogs inside her airconditioned home to keep them safe.
She admitted she was just being “dramatic” and stopped short of hiss-teria, but added: “I’m not going to be comfortable for a while I think.”
