Hat-trick Hero Daizen Maeda Takes to Instagram After Hampden Masterclass
Celtic’s Daizen Maeda has taken to Instagram after putting on a masterclass in the Hoops’ emphatic 6-0 victory over Aberdeen yesterday.
The Bhoys dismantled the Dons at Hampden, with electric frontman Maeda netting a hat-trick in the dominant win.
Before he even scored, though, the winger assisted his fellow countryman Kyogo Furuhashi.
The 27-year-old adeptly won the ball back near the halfway line and got Celtic swiftly on the counter-attack.
He played a brilliant one-two with Nicolas Kuhn before keeping his composure to set up Kyogo, who rattled home.
Maeda soon found himself on the scoresheet, putting his side 3-0 in front at half-time before scoring two back-post tap-ins in the second 45 to complete his hat-trick.
After his standout performance, Maeda took to Instagram late last night, thanking the Celtic fans for their support as he posed with the match ball:

Joe Hart, Adam Idah, and, somewhat surprisingly, Albian Ajeti, among others, all reacted to the post with emojis of their choice.
He was on somewhat of a dry patch, but Maeda stood up yesterday and hit heights all Celtic fans know he can reach.
The attacker is now up to 12 goal contributions in 14 matches across all comPetitions this season; evidently, his start to the campaign has been something to behold.
