Gwyneth Paltrow celebrates Brad Falchuk’s birthday with cuddly, makeup-free photo
Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated her husband Brad Falchuk’s 53rd birthday with an adorable PDA-packed photo.
“Happy birthday @bradfalchuk You are my everything💙,” Paltrow, 51, captioned her Instagram post on Friday.
In the sweet snap, a makeup-free Paltrow is seen cozying up to the “American Horror Story” co-creator as they enjoyed an evening picnic on the beach.
The Goop founder’s freckles were on full display as she smiled fresh-faced for the cute moment.
The lovebirds wore coordinating outfits for their sandy date night with Paltrow in a white and cobalt blue striped dress and Falchuk in a powder blue button-down.
Paltrow also accessorized with a Star of David medallion on a long chain necklace, while Falchuk brightened up his look with a yellow belt.
Fans of the couple flooded the comments section of the post to help the Lifestyle guru celebrate Falchuk’s big day.
“Happy Birthday, Brad! Love you, brother!” one person commented on the post.
“Happy birthday, Brad. You’ve been a gift in my life and to the world. @bradfalchuk @gwynethpaltrow,” a second person gushed.
“Y’all are so beautiful. Happy birthday to Daddy Brad ❤,” a third joked.
“What a hunk! you won, gwyneth!” a fan said, with another adding, “Aww you’re so adorable together 🔥😍.”
Paltrow and Falchuk met on set of the it musical drama in 2014 and things turned romantic shortly after. The pair tied the knot in the Hamptons four years later.
The “Shakespeare in Love” star was previously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin until their “conscious uncoupling” in 2014 after 11 years of marriage. The duo, who finalized their divorce in 2016, continue to co-parent their two kids: daughter Apple, 19, and son Moses, 17.
Meanwhile, Falchuk has two children with his ex-wife Suzanne Bukinik, whom he was married to from 1994 to 2013.
Paltrow has discussed the difficulties of blending families, admitting that being a stepmom was “really hard.”
“I did find it really hard at first. You know? There’s no book on this. Nobody tells us what to do,” she said in an Instagram Story video last September. “And in fact, all of the existing media around what a stepmother is casts us in this evil, villainous light.”

“It’s kind of like trying to avoid landmines,” she added.
While she said the dynamics were difficult to figure out at first, she found things got easier when she fully embraced Falchuk’s kids as her own.
“The minute I decided and fully embodied the idea that my step-kids were my kids and I loved them just as much, and I gave them the same rules and boundaries and just kind of wholeheartedly went for it, the easier the whole thing got,” she said.
Paltrow and Falchuk even waited a year after they got married to move in with each other in order to give their respective children time to adjust.
“We were just trying to be mindful and give them a little space and not move too quickly,” she said during an October 2019 “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” interview.
Paltrow is as madly in love as ever with Falchuk — perhaps because he reminds her of another loved one.
“He has things that were reminiscent of my dad, “she told People in an interview last November. “It’s like blue-eyed, Jewish, TV writer, with a heart of gold and a great sense of humor. I finally chose my dad.”
Paltrow is the daughter of the late TV and film director and producer, Bruce Paltrow, who died in 2002 at the age of 58, and actress Blythe Danner, 81.
