Gisele Bundchen Is Pregnant and Expecting Baby No. 1 With Boyfriend Joaquim Valente

Gisele Bündchen is pregnant and expecting her first child with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, according to multiple reports.

The supermodel, 44, is reportedly “five or six months along,” TMZ reported on Monday, October 28. Meanwhile, a source told People that Gisele and Joaquim, 36, who started dating in 2023, are “happy” and “looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.”

Gisele shares son Benjamin Rein and daughter Vivian Lake with ex-husband Tom Brady.

The couple has yet to confirm or address the news. That said, Life & Style reported in July that Gisele and Joaquim were planning on making a big commitment to their relationship.

“Gisele and Joaquim are planning a low-key wedding at her Costa Rica estate,” an insider exclusively told Life & Style at the time. “She wants to do it far away from prying eyes.”

However, family will undoubtedly be there, including the bride-to-be’s “friend Shakira.”

“The ceremony is expected to be mostly in their native Portuguese, with a little English,” the insider revealed. “Lots of flowers, fruit, fish — the whole event is going to be very tropical. She also wants a brigadeiro cake, which is famous in Brazil!”

Joaquim was Gisele’s jiu-jitsu instructor before they turned their relationship romantic in 2023. The former Victoria’s Secret angel leaned on Joaquim during her separation from Tom, 47, and was spotted in Costa Rica with the fitness instructor weeks after her divorce from the retired NFL superstar was finalized in November 2022.

“Aside from their super-steamy physical attraction, Gisele and Joaquim connect on many different levels,” a second source exclusively told Life & Style in March. “Their Brazilian culture is probably No. 1, but their love of fitness and Health and their shared sense of humor give them even more in common.”

At the same time, a third insider revealed how Tom and the kids feel about Gisele’s new romance. “Tom is getting used to it, the kids [Benjamin and Vivian] are fine with it, and that’s all that matters,” insider No. 3 shared at the time.

Gisele and Joaquim enjoy their relationship out of the spotlight. When they are photographed out in public, the pair are usually taking a stroll around their neighborhood, paddleboarding or engaging in a physical activity.

The fashion designer has gushed about motherhood over the years and recently opened up about being a parent to a pre-teen and teenager. “The most important thing [is] you have to make time to have conversations, because, I think, you know, they are changing, every day is a whole new world,” Gisele told Jimmy Fallon during a March appearance on The Tonight Show. “And it’s so important to kind of talk, it’s a huge thing.”

In 2018, Giisele opened up about feeling like she lost a part of herself after becoming a mom.

“It was like a part of me died. I’d been this very independent person. It was all about me. But now I had this little being, and I suddenly felt l couldn’t do other things and that was very hard for me,” she told People at the time. “All I ever wanted was to be a mom, but when you’re actually experiencing that, it’s a shock.”
