Many have arrived from overseas to catch one of the most exciting night street races of the F1 season. The 2024 Formula One World Championship has arrived at its official 18th round for the Singapore circuit. This iconic night race, happening against the scenic backdrop of Marina Bay, continues to be a three-day event.
From 20 to 22 September 2024, the first two days consist of practice runs and the qualifying race while the final day is the official comPetition.
According to Singapore GP, this year’s track length is 4.94km and involves 19 turns. The total number of laps racers must make to reach the finishing line is 62 over 306.143km race distance.

How to get to F1 Grand Prix Singapore 2024
Road closures are expected as the race happens within the Marina Bay and Civic precinct. Attendees and ticket holders can get into the grounds at various entrances scattered across the perimeters of the race track.
Avoid arriving by taxi or private car hires. Instead, the best way to reach the F1 Grand Prix Singapore venue is by MRT because most gates are within walking distance from the station exits.
There are a total of nine gates: Gate 1 (Republic Boulevard), Gate 2 (Temasek Avenue), Gate 3A, 3B (Stamford), Gate 4 (Empress), Gate 5 (Fullerton), Gate 6 (Jubilee), Gate 7 (Marina Square), Gate 8 (Helix), and Gate 9 (Ritz).
The nearest MRT stops to alight are City Hall Station (Gate 3A, 3B), Raffles Place Station (Gates 4, 5, and 6), Esplanade Station (Gate 3A, 3B, 7), Promenade Station (Gate 2, 9), Bayfront Station (Gate 8), and Nicoll Highway Station (Gate 1).
Train services at City Hall MRT station will be extended until 12.30am on Friday and Saturday, and 12.45am on Sunday (20 September to 22 September 2024).
Details of the F1 Grand Prix Singapore 2023 race track and map
There are two main ticket categories: Walkabout and Grandstand. The former also consists of the Premier Walkabout category and the Zone 4 Walkabout category. The Premier Walkabout option allows ticket holders to roam freely and enjoy the race at any vantage point in Zone 1 to Zone 4. In addition, this ticket includes access to various entertainment and food and beverage options across the entire Circuit Park.
On the other hand, those with Zone 4 Walkabout tickets can only roam within Zone 4 and access specially designed viewing platforms at strategic trackside locations. This ticket is also ideal who want to catch the daily entertainment performances and concerts in F1 Village @ Zone 4.
All walkabout ticket holders will have access to strategically located viewing bleachers within the Marina Bay Street Circuit and the entertainment programmes in Zone 4.
Grandstand tickets offer allocated seating at various points along the trackside.
Tickets start from SGD128 for a single-day walkabout ticket. All three-day packages are currently sold out.
F1 Singapore 2024 schedule
The races for the three days will start at the following times:
September 20 (Friday)
- Practice 1: 5.30pm to 6.30pm
- Practice 2: 9pm to 10pm
September 21 (Saturday)
- Practice 3: 5.30pm to 6.30pm
- Qualifying: 9pm to 10pm
September 22 (Sunday)
- Official race: 8pm to 10pm
Ticketing information
Ensure that you have the correct ticket for the corresponding day. Tickets are non-transferable for the specific day. If you are showing your ticket on your phone or electronic device, download a copy before arrival at the gate.

The 2024 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix circuit grounds will open at the following times. The opening hours are subject to change.
- Friday, 20 September – 1:45pm to 12:00am
- Saturday, 21 September – 1:45pm to 12:00am
- Sunday, 22 September – 2:45pm to 12:00am

Concerts: Official entertainment line-up for F1 Singapore 2024
The F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2024 will feature a series of concerts featuring well-known international music performers in addition to the thrilling action on the main track. There will also be general and roving acts throughout the three days, including Singapore singer-songwriter Rangga Jones, R&B-funk band Astronauts, and Japanese wind instrument girl group MOS.
Go early to secure a spot in the Fanzone to get up close to your favourite artistes. Entry to the Fanzone is on a first-come first-served basis. You may exit the Fanzone at any time; however, you may not be able to re-enter once the Fanzone has reached its maximum capacity.
Those attending with young children are encouraged to watch the concerts from the Family Pens. Entry to the Family Pen is along Connaught Drive (near Dockside).
Zones 1 and 2 attendees will be able to walk the track after the final track activity of each day approximately 20 minutes after the final track activity and head to the Padang to catch the concerts.

The Best 2024 F1 GPSS (Grand Prix Season Singapore) activities to explore
Groovedriver Festival at Sports Hub
Presented by 8-Beat Collective and Singapore Sports Hub, the music-led inaugural Groovedriver Festival is not to be missed. This 10-long event features a well-curated live music and Entertainment lineup, consisting of local and international artists.
The F1 race weekend will see the iconic Ministry of Sound returning to Singapore via Groovedriver Festival for a special set. Showcase your best moves to adrenaline-racing beats delivered by legendary DJs Chicane, Mauro Picotto, and Seb Fontaine. For a chill vibe, wind down at 8-Beat Beach Club with a refreshing cocktail in hand, accompanied by smooth beach house tunes.
Admission for the Ministry of Sound segment is priced at S$68; happening on 21 September. Admission to 8-Beat Beach Club is free; happens from now to 22 September.
Street Style Speedway by CQ @ Clarke Quay x Culture Cartel
Speed and street style converge at CQ as part of the Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS). Conceived in collaboration and curated by Asia’s premier street culture convention Culture Cartel, this race-themed event will showcase bold streetwear, immersive installations, and sports car exhibitions.
Highlights include CArt Installations created by local artists. By day, renowned local artist-designer Alvin Phunk (@alvinphunk), co-founder of the iconic Singapore-based art collective, Phunk, will transform a sleek Mercedes CLA 45S 4MATIC+ Coupé into a rolling canvas, showcasing his signature dynamic graphic designs. Come night, projection mappings by Southeast Asian visual effects artist and music producer Race Krehel aka ‘SuperCyberTown’, will illuminate a Mercedes-AMG A35 4MATIC Hatchback, bringing to life a dynamic blend of art and technology.
Visitors can also shop a curated selection of apparel at the Limited Edt x Culture Cartel Fashion Apparel pop-up retail store. Pair trendy streetwear from Rhude and Martine Rose with exclusive race merchandise by Red Bull, Ducati, McLaren, and more.
Lastly, make a pit stop at the Illuminated Speedway at Read Bridge. Produced by local digital and light artist Flex Chew, known for his art pieces that push the boundaries of art, Science and Technology, this LED-lit passageway illuminates and dances in sync with music chosen by Chew.

LEGO® Technic Grand ‘Brix’ Pop-Up Experience
For this F1 2024 Singapore Grand Prix Season, LEGO Group joins forces with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team to present an immersive pop-up experience featuring a life-sized LEGO Technic Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 model and exciting activities for motorsport fans of all ages.
This life-sized LEGO replica of the LEGO Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance model is a sight to behold. Crafted from 192,937 LEGO bricks over 2,428 hours by a team of 15 model builders, it’s completed with a real steering wheel made from LEGO bricks with rotatable selectors and shifting pedals.
Activities-wise, attendees can challenge themselves to race against the clock and hit all 30 lights at the LEGO Race Training station. For the LEGO Build for Speed station, players will be tasked to swiftly replace the tyres on a LEGO vehicle in a timed challenge. These activities belong to a mission series of four challenges to redeem an F1-themed sticker sheet as memorabilia.

Scuderia Ferrari HP showcar at Marina Bay Sands
Carefully hand-built and adorned with details of Ferrari’s livery, the Scuderia Ferrari HP showcar takes centre stage in the lobby of Hotel Tower 1. Get up close with the powerhouse machine that Sports a special livery celebrating two colours from Ferrari’s past, Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino.

Marina Bay Sands lights up in fiery red at night
Celebrating its second year of partnership with Scuderia Ferrari, Marina Bay Sands ignites the Tifosi’s passion with a fiery red glow illuminating its iconic façade and waterfront.
The fiery red light display at Marina Bay Sands will happen from 6.45pm to 12.30am till 22 September. SPECTRA – A special light and Water Show: Night Race Special will happen at these timings – 18 and 19 September: 8.30pm, 9.30pm, 10pm; 20 to 22 September: 8.30pm, 9pm, 9.30pm, 10pm.
F1 Driver Lando Norris “Shifted Perspectives” Presented by Airwallex
Discover renowned F1 driver Lando Norris from through an artistic lens with “Shifted Perspectives”. Presented in a first-of-its-kind 3D perception-shifting sculpture, his exhibition captures the audience’s imagination to highlight the role of ‘perspective’ in reaching our potential. This art piece is produced in collaboration with New York-based artist Michael Murphy, whose previous works have included Barack Obama, Nike Jordan and Adidas for Messi.
This large-scale installation of Lando Norris will “dominate the viewer’s physical and mental space, captivating the critical thought process of shifting perspectives to see opportunities where once we saw obstacles”. Fans should catch this one-off event proudly produced and presented by McLaren Racing Official Partner, Airwallex.
