Fawad Khan meets Bollywood veteran Mumtaz on her trip to Pakistan

During a recent visit to Pakistan, Bollywood veteran Mumtaz posted candid photos with artistes Fawad Khan, Ghulam Ali, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on her Instagram handle.

Clad in a black kurta-shalwar and a navy-blue shawl draped across his shoulders, Fawad can be seen smiling as he stands next to Mumtaz. Mumtaz herself opted for a black shirt with sheer lace sleeves and maroon trousers. In another picture, the duo can be seen sitting casually side-by side on a sofa. 

As reported by The Indian Express, Mumtaz is currently on a tour of Pakistan, and has been offering her fans regular glimpses of her time away through social media. Keeping her fans and followers up to date with her activities Mumtaz shared a post where she posed with legendary singer Ghulam Ali. In a video, Ghulam can be seen playing the harmonium and performing a ghazal, as Mumtaz and others sit in awe and admiration around him. Mumtaz captioned the video, “Ashan khan house party Mumtaz and ghulam ali sir in Pakistan.” 

The Bollywood veteran has recently made headlines in Indian media for criticising her contemporary Zeenat Aman. Mumtaz has publicly disagreed with Zeenat for her encouraging stance on live-in relationships before marriage. According to reports, Mumtaz had gone on record to note, “Zeenat should be careful with what she is advising. She has all of a sudden come into this huge social media popularity, and I can understand her excitement about sounding like a cool aunty. But giving advice that is counter to our moral values is not the solution to increasing your following.”
