Donna Kelce has learned a thing or two about Easter eggs from son Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The famous mom included one of her own about the NFL star for her role in the upcoming Hallmark Channel Christmas film, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.

The film’s stars, Hunter King and Tyler Hynes, let the cat out of the bag that while Donna, 72, wears Travis’ No. 87 Chiefs jersey in the film, it had a special message from her son written on the back that read, “Love you mommy.”

“I know that she put a lot of thought into that,” Hunter, 31, told E! News in an interview published on Monday, November 25.

Tyler, 38, gushed over Donna, saying, “She’s like a rare and beautiful unicorn. When she showed up on set, it was like, ‘The Eagle has landed.’ It was like the president was joining us, and rightfully so. She’s like the country’s mother.”

Hunter elaborated that it “really was like the president was in the movie. Because we had to sneak her in through the back,” due to the excited Chiefs fans who gathered wanting to get a closer look at Travis’ mom.

“Once people that lived in Kansas City heard that there was a Hallmark-Chiefs movie being made, everyone wanted to come and get a glimpse of it, which was just so incredible to watch the Chiefs kingdom and how loyal their fans are and how loyal the Hallmark fans are,” the Life in Pieces star added.

In the TV movie, Hunter plays die-hard Chiefs fan Alana, who is trying to win a fan of the year contest along with her family. Tyler portrays the team’s director of fan engagement Derrick, who will decide if she gets the honor. Sparks fly as the pair fall for each other.

Donna is making her acting debut in the film. She joined Hunter and Tyler to reveal her participation in the movie in a July 13 Instagram post. That actors introduced themselves before Donna popped up in the middle of the two to do the same, wearing Travis’ jersey. All three stood under a large Christmas wreath on the set of the film with the Chiefs’ arrowhead logo in the middle.

America’s mom has a full speaking role in the film as a manager at what appears to be a cafe. In several scenes from the teaser trailer and full trailer, she’s seen wearing different outfits while wearing the nametag of her character — also named Donna — along with “manager” underneath.

In one scene, she gives sage advice, smiling and telling someone, “Trust me on this one,” while holding a plate of gingerbread cookies.

While the film centers around the Chiefs Kingdom, Donna paid tribute to her other NFL legend son, Jason Kelce, as well. She wears his No. 62 Philadelphia Eagles jersey in another scene. Jason, 37, announced his retirement in March after spending all 13 of his NFL seasons with the Eagles.

The movie was shot partially on location in Kansas City, with several scenes taking place at Arrowhead Stadium. Chiefs players and the team’s head coach, Andy Reid, also make cameos to help add to the authenticity.

In one scene from the full trailer that dropped on November 14, Jenna Bush Hager is seen alongside Chiefs defensive end George Karlaftis, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire and wide receiver Mecole Hardman in uniform on the field at Arrowhead Stadium. She tells fans to “please turn your attention to midfield.”

Chiefs guard Trey Smith has a speaking role, telling Alana at a fan event, “Oh yeah, I know who you are,” and explaining he recognized her from “the lucky Christmas hat” she wears to Games.

Andy, 66, tells Alana and Derrick, “Guys, we kinda need the field now!” in a Game scene.
