Chiefs heiress Ava Hunt graduates from high school after committing to SMU cheerleading team
Ava Hunt is officially a high school graduate.
The 18-year-old shared photos on Instagram over the weekend from her graduation ceremony.
“No 🎓tion needed,” the Kansas City Chiefs heiress wrote alongside the carousel, along with the hashtags, “#graduation, #classof2024 #smubound and #ponyup.”
In the photos, Hunt posed alongside several of her closest friends while wearing her cap and gown over a ruffled white dress and platform gold heels.
The three-sport athlete also wore several colorful cords and two medals, one of which was an “All-American” honor for her achievements in cheerleading.
Hunt, who is the youngest daughter of Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt, announced in March that she officially joined the Southern Methodist University cheer team, her dad’s alma mater.
Along with her role as a cheer captain, Ava also played soccer and ran track during her time at the Covenant School — a Christian private school — in Dallas.
The teen also shared a snap alongside her parents and sister Gracie Hunt. However, her older brother, Knobel Hunt, seemingly skipped the ceremony.
The 21-year-old also goes to SMU, where he plays soccer.
After getting her diploma, the Hunt family flew to Washington, DC, for the Chiefs’ White House visit to celebrate their second consecutive Super Bowl win.
“Presidential ðŸˆðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸ What an incredible experience! Thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday so special!! â¤ï¸ðŸ’›,” Ava wrote on Instagram Sunday.
The soon-to-be college student shared several photos of herself inside the White House, including one alongside Travis Kelce.
The record-breaking tight end looked dapper in a slightly oversized plain tan suit, a white shirt, black tie, pointed-toe boots and black sunglasses.
He opted for more of an eye-catching look while meeting President Joe Biden last year, sporting a bright red suit with a simple black T-shirt and sneakers.
The bright outfit choice seemingly emboldened the hunky athlete, who attempted to — and failed at — making a speech during last year’s celebration before teaMMAte Patrick Mahomes interjected.
However, this time around, Biden actually invited Kelce up to the microphone.
“My fellow Americans, it’s nice to see you all yet again,†Kelce, 34, said with a smile.
“I’m not going to lie, President Biden. They told me if I came up here I’d get tased, so I’m going back to my spot, alright?” he joked before shaking hands with the president and retreating back to his spot.
