Chris Valdes is a Miami-born chef, actor, Celebrity caterer, philanthropist, and author of ‘One With the Kitchen.’  Chris’s culinary journey began at a young age in his family’s Cuban restaurant. After studying at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, he returned stateside and opened his own catering company before embarking on his path of becoming a TV chef. He stars in his own YouTube series, ‘Cooking With Chris,’ has been featured on several national TV shows (GMA, Live with Kelly and Ryan, Access Hollywood, etc.,) and was a finalist on the last season of ‘Food Network Star’ and ‘Star Salvation.’

Chris is excited to share his favorite grilling cooking tips-and-tricks while educating viewers about the importance of cardiovascular Health, a disease that hits nearly half of the US Hispanic population, and has even affected him and his mother. After suffering from her stroke and his weight loss journey, Chris and his family have made major Lifestyle changes, starting in the kitchen. Along with sharing his family’s heart Health journey, Chris is also showcasing some delicious Latin-inspired Recipes made with heart-Healthy and cholesterol-free ingredients that never sacrifice flavor.
