The American defender stressed that the league is far from decided and highlighted the need for Celtic to remain vigilant in their upcoming matches.

With the season approaching its climax, Celtic is poised for a series of critical Games that Carter-Vickers describes as ‘figurative cup finals’, starting with this Sunday’s clash at Dens Park against Dundee.

The defender expressed enthusiasm for the challenges ahead but reiterated the importance of treating each Game seriously.

“We’ve got our place in one cup final,” Carter-Vickers said, quoted by RecordSport. “Does it feel like we have five more in the league before then? One hundred per cent.

“We will probably need to win all of games in the league to get to where we want to be.

“They are all big Games coming up now – five in the league and then the cup final. So, we’ve six Games left, and they are all must-perform and must-win for us.”

Celtic’s manager Brendan Rodgers has consistently conveyed a message of resilience and determination, a sentiment that Carter-Vickers and his teaMMAtes have embraced wholeheartedly. The team is keenly aware that even a single misstep could jeopardize their lead, with Carter-Vickers remarking, “It’s still tight in the table. Three points is nothing. That’s one Game. So, we’re fully focused on trying to perform in the next five league Games.”

As the title race heats up, the focus within the Celtic camp is clear: keep pushing forward and treat every match as a final.
