Tyrese Maxey to score 30+ points (+175)

Damian Lillard to score 30+ points (+200)

Same Game Parlay odds: +535

Tyrese Maxey to score 30+ points (+175)

A lot will depend how far the Philadelphia 76ers go this year, at least in the regular season, on Tyrese Maxey. In his 4th season with the Sixers, Maxey has fulfilled his all-star potential level, but now his responsibility is bigger than ever as his 2 co-stars in Joel Embiid and Paul George struggle with injuries. Maxey has been as reliable as you can be in today’s NBA, playing a total of 70 games last year. He was Philadelphia’s best player in the 1st-round series against the Knicks, averaging almost 30 points per game. So scoring 30 is nothing new to him. He did it twice in the 3 regular-season meetings with Milwaukee last season. With PG13 likely sitting out Wednesday’s game, we could see a big scoring game from Maxey. His lowest number of field goals attempted against Milwaukee last season was 19, so you can bet on him taking a load of shots in the first game of the 2024-25 campaign.

Damian Lillard to score 30+ points (+200)

Similar to Maxey, Damian Lillard also has a big responsibility on the Bucks’ roster. And just like his counterpart, he too is the 2nd-best player on his team (behind Giannis Antetokounmpo). That doesn’t mean we won’t have Dame atop of the scoring charts often this season, though. He opened the 2023-24 regular season with a 39-point outburst against Philadelphia, helping the Bucks start off their season with a victory. After falling short in the postseason last year, I would argue Lillard and the Bucks are under the most pressure of all teams in the Eastern Conference and that should bring the best out of the veteran point guard — who is still chasing that elusive first NBA championship. Khris Middleton has already been ruled out for Wednesday’s Game’ that’s an extra 12-15 shots to go around, which also factors into this bet.

Let’s hope both Dame and Maxey deliver in their first game of the season.
