Celtic striker Adam Idah certainly played his part against Atalanta, holding the ball up and tracking back defensively when needed.

For 68 minutes, the Irishman put in the hard yards.

Although not at his prolific goal-scoring best, this was more to do with the type of Game than Idah’s lack of clinical finishing.

With Celtic failing to create a number of clear-cut chances, they instead defended for their lives, with the Irish striker playing his part in a huge night in the Champions League for Celtic.

Idah highlights that the point sets the Hoops up for two huge nights ahead against RB Leipzig and Club Brugge in the next two Champions League matches, both at Celtic Park.

The future is bright for Idah and Celtic, with the Irishman likely to play a big part in the next five Games in the Champions League.

Idah has been patient in a huge Game; to start, he was able to hold the ball when Celtic came under pressure, with Kasper Schmeichel looking to find him higher up the pitch in a slight tactical tweak from Brendan Rodgers, who got his tactics spot on, on the night.
