Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has spoken about the newfound confidence his players have gained in their Champions League campaign, especially after an impressive 3-1 victory over RB Leipzig at Parkhead last night.

Reflecting on the journey so far, Rodgers acknowledged the growth his team has shown, especially after challenging previous fixtures.
He said [Clyde 1 SSB]: “If you’d said after the Dortmund Game that we would have got four points from Atalanta and Red Bull Leipzig, probably not too many people would have said we would have done that.”
His words underline how quickly Celtic have adapted and matured on the European stage, surprising both critics and supporters with their progress.
Rodgers praised his side’s resilience and adaptability, noting the psychological boost this result provides going into the remainder of the league phase. With seven points from their first four Games, Celtic are in a solid position to push for further progress in the comPetition.

His comments reflect a manager who has seen his side evolve and gain composure, even in high-stakes European clashes.
The win over Leipzig, combined with their previous draw against Atalanta, has certainly lifted spirits at Celtic Park, giving fans and players alike a renewed sense of possibility.
Rodgers highlighted this by pointing out that the team’s performances have matched its recent results. “To have seven points after four Games, especially with the level of performance that we’ve played, gives us great encouragement,” he said.

As they prepare for the upcoming fixtures, Rodgers and his men will aim to carry this momentum and continue to prove they belong at the top level.
