Bhoys Celtic’s Classy James Forrest Banner
James Forrest’s milestone of 500 appearances for Celtic was commemorated in memorable fashion.
The veteran winger, a one-club man, was honoured with a banner from Bhoys Celtic post-match on Saturday, after Celtic sealed the 2-0 win over Hearts.
Before the match, Brendan Rodgers presented the Scotland international with a special Celtic shirt to celebrate 500 appearances.
When the team started their walk around the pitch, the fan group unfurled the message to Jamesy, and captain Callum McGregor ensured Forrest was at the front of the group to take the message in.
The banner, unfurled in the stands, bore the message: “You lived our dream 500 times; Congratulations James Forrest”.

Forrest’s career at Celtic has been laden with triumphs, including 12 League titles, eight Scottish Cups, and seven League Cups, making him one of the most decorated players in the club’s storied History. Despite his accolades, Forrest has often been described as one of the most underappreciated talents at Parkhead. It looked like his Parkhead career was dwindling out, but last season, he found some form after Brendan Rodgers gave him some minutes, and he even managed to get a call-up to Scotland’s squad for the Euros.
He’s been a great player for Celtic over the years, so it’s great to see his success celebrated by the fans.
