The next edition of Monday Night Football takes us to the Bay Area where the San Francisco 49ers will host the Baltimore Ravens in a battle between what could be the two best teams in Football. Can the Ravens pull off an upset and stake their claim as Super Bowl favorites, or will the 49ers establish themselves as the clear top dog in the NFL

I don’t have a prediction on the side for this matchup, but I do have a couple of touchdown scorer bets for the proceedings. Here are my touchdown scorer best bets for this mouthwatering Monday matchup.

Don’t miss our Baltimore Ravens vs San Francisco 49ers predictions

San Francisco 49ers best touchdown scorer bet: Deebo Samuel (+110)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

While last season was a bit of a down year for Deebo Samuel, the 49ers wideout is back in peak 2021 form this season with Brock Purdy at the helm of the offense. Samuel has especially come on strong over the last month, hauling in 22 receptions over the last 4 games to go along with a combined 392 yards and 4 touchdowns. When the games are the biggest, Samuel has shown to be a force in the 49ers passing game, as he racked up over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Eagles on December 3, plus 149 yards and a touchdown against the Seahawks the following week. Given the magnitude of this contest, it’s hard to imagine that Samuel won’t be targeted frequently and used in a variety of ways on the ground as well. Let’s get to the window with Deebo for a 4th consecutive game.

Baltimore Ravens best touchdown scorer bet: Isaiah Likely (+290)

Odds available at PointsBet Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Across the field, this is a Ravens offense that has been able to survive multiple key injuries and still execute at a high level each and every week. That’s the advantage of having one of the best quarterbacks in Football in Lamar Jackson at the controls of an offense that has gotten a lot more creative in the passing Game this season with Todd Monken as offensive coordinator. One area in which Baltimore has always had success throwing the Football is with the tight end, and that’s continued in recent weeks, even after Mark Andrews went down with a season-ending injury. Second-year tight end Isaiah Likely has stepped in and filled the role nicely, building a rapport with Jackson and 20 targets, 14 receptions and a pair of touchdowns over the last 3 weeks. I’ll gladly take the value we’re getting with Likely in this spot, especially since the Ravens continue to sustain injuries in the running Game.
