The 2024 NFL Draft takes place tonight, which means it’s time to get serious about projecting the future destinations of the best players in college Football. All of the questions we have been asking since the Super Bowl are about to be answered, but — for a few more days, at least — there is still time for some more analysis.
In this piece, I’ll be focusing on former Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. Not only has Harrison Jr. been among the best players in college Football over the past couple of seasons, but he’s already been tabbed as one of the best wide receiver prospects in recent memory heading into this week’s NFL Draft. Marvin Harrison Jr. NFL Draft best bets
Marvin Harrison Jr. to be drafted by Arizona Cardinals (-195)
Odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Most of the teams near the top of the NFL Draft board are interested in a quarterback, and for good reason. After all, a quarterback is the building block for every great NFL offense and for most of the dregs of the league, a rookie quarterback feels like a lottery ticket that has at least some chance to pay off in a big way down the road. However, the Arizona Cardinals simply don’t have that problem. Kyler Murray is a very talented QB and he’ll be suiting up once again for Arizona next fall, which leaves the Cardinals in a position to draft the best available player on the board once the top couple of quarterbacks head to their new destinations. Giving Murray a weapon like Harrison Jr. is exactly what this Cardinals offense needs to potentially take the next step in what should be a very competitive NFC West. Even at this price, I like backing this wager quite a bit.
