Back to School: 3rd annual School Supply Drive for Family Service at Grieco Automotive

Donate new Backpacks & Supplies August 7 – 24

Grieco Automotive Group dealerships in Johnston, East Providence, Middletown, and Seekonk, MA have announced the company’s 3^rd Annual School Supply Drive, collecting new backpacks and school supplies to benefit the South Providence Health Equity Zone through Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) through August 24. The supplies will be distributed to schools in each community.

“We are proud to partner with and support Family Service of Rhode Island in their mission to advance equity and opportunity for all students,” said Michael Grieco, Jr. of Grieco Automotive Group. “By providing these essential supplies, we hope to alleviate some of the back-to-school stress for families and ensure every child has the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.”

Needed items include:

• Paper: lined paper, copy paper, construction paper, spiral notebooks, composition books, index cards
• Pencils & Pens: blue or black pens, #2 pencils, colored pencils, erasers, pencil sharpener, pencil case, colored markers, crayons, highlighters, dry-erase markers
• General Supplies: new backpacks, rulers, dry-erase boards, paper clips, 3-ring 2″ binders, pocket folders, report covers
• Classroom staples: stapler, staples, rulers, protractors, glue sticks, scissors, tape, calculator
• Basics: tissues, sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer
