B83.Maggie the Wonderdog: An Inspirational Journey from Blind to Therapy Star

Our today’s hero Maggie has an inspiring life story that could inspire many of you. Her story begins sadly and stressfully, in the country of Lebanon, where she was found. When they found her, she had one ear cut off and a broken jaw, and she was seriously injured. Although she was pregnant, it was not enough for someone to beat her and shoot her with a shotgun, even 17 times. Incredibly, hello Maggie survived it all. Unfortunately, those injuries left a mark on her and she became completely blind.

Good people did everything to save Maggie, so they started spreading her story on social networks so that someone would help her and save her. Fortunately, a woman from London saw her story and reacted immediately, she immediately contacted The Wild At Heart Foundation and there was hope for Maggie. After that, Maggie was sent for numerous operations and treatments and fortunately survived. Immediately after she recovered, she was put up for adoption, and from the moment she was rescued by Kasey Crlin, her life suddenly changed for the better.

Kasey was inspired by Maggie’s willpower to survive everything that happened to her, it was a sign that Maggie was unique and that she wanted to have her with her all her life, so she adopted her and took her home with her. Kasey opened an Instagram account with Maggie’s profile and soon the number of followers started to accumulate because Maggie’s story was incredible and inspiring.

After Kasey realized how many people Maggie touched and how many people follow and comment on her posts on Instagram with delight, she decided to quit her full-time job as a dog sitter and dedicate herself entirely to Maggie and managing her Instagram profile. The fact that over 500,000 people already follow her on Instagram speaks volumes.

From an abandoned dog with little chance of survival, Maggie has become a real internet sensation, her posts are viral, and she is living her best moments. Maggie now has a completely new mission in life, which is to transmit her positive energy, spread love and be a real-life inspiration to many.

As soon as she recovered and became increasingly popular, Maggie became a registered therapy dog, and for the purpose of therapy, she visited many institutions such as colleges, hospitals, nursing homes, etc.

Her very appearance and story immediately brought peace and a good mood to the people she met at her therapies, and her inspiring story got a lot of good to people who were in difficult and challenging life situations.

Maggie is not the only dog that Kasey has, Kasey’s other dog Mishka keeps her company, is her inseparable friend and they both make a very cute duo.

There lives a loving family whose entire attention is focused on their favorite dog, Max. Max was a mixed breed who won the hearts of his owners forever with his crazy behavior on the one hand and on the other with his calm and composed behavior at times.

Unfortunately, one day the worst nightmare happened for a beloved dog owner, Max disappeared without a trace, throwing the family into great worry and sadness. As soon as they noticed that he was missing, his family members immediately started looking for him. They tried in every way: they looked for him themselves, pasted leaflets with his picture and contact number, and left signs around the neighborhood with the hope that it would help. In particular, the message on the leaflet that read “we miss him very much” caught my eye, showing how important Max was to them.

Even months have passed since Max disappeared, but unfortunately, there was still no sign of him. Just when they had lost all hope that they would ever find him, a surprise arrived. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, or Deputy Perez, received a call that a dog was roaming the street in the neighborhood. When the deputy arrived at the scene, he immediately recognized that it was the dog he had seen on flyers and signs around town. As soon as he noticed it, he contacted the family. After the family came to check on the dog, they were greeted by the biggest and nicest possible surprise, Max, finally with them after months of searching for him.

You can see for yourself in the photos how much the girls cared about the dog and what an eruption of joy and emotional reaction it was on both sides. In the photos that the sheriff’s office shared on Facebook, you can see how one of the girls was so overcome with emotion that she shed tears of joy. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook: “Max and his family are reunited and as you can see on the faces of the children, they couldn’t be happier.”

This touching story with a happy ending went viral on Facebook, hundreds of people commented on the event itself, and the picture and story were shared by more than 2,000 people. Most of the people in the comments thanked Deputy Perez for solving the case and enabling the girls to see their beloved dog again.
