Zaheer Iqbal has revealed that the most beautiful moment of the wedding ceremony with Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha earlier this year was when the sound of the Azaan (call to prayer) resonated from a nearby mosque during the Kanyadaan ritual.

In a recent interview, Zaheer described the wedding as an enchanting and unforgettable experience. He recalled that during the Kanyadaan, a significant delay of about 15 minutes occurred.

As he took Sonakshi's hand, she pointed out that the Azaan was being called.

Zaheer shared that while the priest was reciting mantras, the Azaan played in the background, making him feel that it was a moment of divine approval.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal officially tied the knot on June 23, 2024, in a private ceremony that marked the culmination of their years-long relationship.

The couple opted for a registered marriage, which took place at Zaheer's residence, followed by a lavish reception at the popular Mumbai restaurant, Bastian.

The wedding festivities kicked off with a series of intimate pre-wedding events, including a mehendi ceremony and a family gathering, where Sonakshi's parents, Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha, were present, dispelling rumors of any familial discord regarding the union.

The couple, who first met at a party hosted by Salman Khan, have kept their relationship largely under wraps until recently, when they began sharing glimpses of their love on social media.

The wedding reception was a star-studded affair, attended by numerous celebrities from the Bollywood industry.

Guests included Salman Khan, who played a pivotal role in launching Sonakshi's career, as well as actors like Vidya Balan, Tabu, and Aditi Rao Hydari.

The newlyweds celebrated their special day with vibrant music and dancing, captivating their guests with a lively atmosphere.

As Sonakshi and Zaheer made their grand entrance, they danced to traditional dhol beats, showcasing their joy and love for one another.
