While the dating comPetition show – which aired for three seasons from 2010-2012 – didn’t produce as many happy couples as its replacement Bachelor in Paradise, there is a success story from the series.

Holly Durst and Blake Julian from Bachelor Pad season 2 are still together today. They tied the knot in 2012 and are parents to two adopted children – a daughter named Poppy and a son named Knox.

In July 2019, Holly opened up about her struggles with infertility and said that she had been struggling to conceive a child for seven years. She revealed that she had endometriosis and underwent surgery in 2014, but still had no luck getting pregnant. Following one failed round of intrauterine insemination (IUI) in 2015 and two unsuccessful rounds of in vitro fertilization (IVF) in 2016, Blake and Julian found a surrogate who got pregnant with their baby in 2018. However, after the surrogate miscarried two pregnancies, the couple decided to adopt.

“I knew deep in my soul that I was going to be a mom. I just didn’t know when or how,” Holly said after introducing Poppy in October 2019. “My faith kept me strong. I knew that God wouldn’t have given me a mama heart and not make me a mama!”

After Knox’s adoption in January 2023, Holly declared that their family of four was “complete.”

Before Holly was with Blake, she was engaged to Michael Stagliano, another Bachelor Nation alum who appeared on season 2 of Bachelor Pad. Although Holly and Michael split before filming the show, they were partnered on the season and went on to win together.

Holly and Blake formed a connection while filming Bachelor Pad. Although Blake was eliminated in episode 5, they continued seeing each other after the show ended and announced at the reunion that they were engaged. However, Michael was not given a heads up about the engagement news, so he was admittedly “blindsided” when he found out that his ex was moving on in such a big way.

“I was really upset,” Holly admitted afterward. “I called him to tell him, but they’d already taken his phone. I was thinking, ‘Well, at least I will be able to tell him before the show so he isn’t blindsided.’ But I wasn’t allowed to speak to him prior to walking out on stage.” Michael added that he was “caught off guard” and “humiliated” by the public reveal.

Still, the exes remained on good terms after their win, with Michael confirming that he was “absolutely” happy for Holly amid her engagement. “I will always care about and love her so it makes me happy when she’s happy,” he said. “I wish we could have been happy together but we’re always going to care about and love each other.”

What Happened to Tenley and Kiptyn From ‘Bachelor Pad’?

Tenley Molzahn and Kiptyn Locke were in a relationship for nearly three years after meeting on season 1 of Bachelor Pad in 2010. The reality stars were both runners-up on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, respectively, and then made it to the finale on Bachelor Pad.

They dated until March 2013 before calling it quits.
