The Marvelettes have been an American all-girl group who achieved reputation within the early to mid-Sixties. They consisted of schoolmates Gladys Horton, Katherine Anderson (now Schaffner), Georgeanna Tillman (later Gordon), Juanita Cowart (now Cowart Motley), and Georgia Dobbins, who was changed by Wanda Younger (now Rogers) previous to the group signing their first deal.
